Former LIMP BIZKIT Guitarist Collaborates With NIN Bassist, FILTER Mainman
June 23, 2003Former LIMP BIZKIT and current EAT THE DAY guitarist Wes Borland has posted the following message to the official EAT THE DAY web site:
"The trip to London went really well. We found a ton of people that were great and met with a lot of them. We have it narrowed down to a short list of U.K. vocalists, and we'll be flying them out one at a time over the next few weeks. I did a ton of press, so look out for articles in Kerrrrranggg, Metal Hammer, Big Cheese, etc... I've been working with Danny Lohner [NINE INCH NAILS] on four songs for the movie 'Underworld'. That soundtrack may really turn out to be a great album, and I've seen the film about 10 times and I really like it. I'm working with CRYSTAL METHOD a little as well, and that's been a different experience. Also, Richard Patrick from FILTER and I wrote a song together, and that will be coming out soon, maybe on the 'Tomb Raider' soundtrack. So life is good. We're busy. Lots of projects in the works. I'm going to try to make it back to the U.K. in 6 weeks for the Kerrang Awards, plus we have a lot of following up to do with people there. I heard the MARS VOLTA album, and I must ask you all kindly to do yourself a favor and BUY IT. That's the news for now."
